MAX K160S Pneumatic Piercing Tool

The MAX K160S is a high-performance and precision trenchless piercing machine designed for medium and large diameter underground installation works. The device enables both soil displacement (piercing), pulling in plastic pipes, and driving steel pipes, making it a versatile solution for companies involved in underground utility installation.

The machine is designed for pulling PE and PVC pipes with diameters of 110–160 mm in a single operation. It is particularly effective for the increasingly popular 125 mm pipes with socket or coupling connections used to join successive segments. With the use of expanders, it is also possible to install pipes with diameters of 180 mm and 200 mm. The MAX K160S also allows driving steel pipes up to 406 mm in diameter when appropriate cones are used.

The device is based on TERMA’s many years of experience in manufacturing trenchless machines. Its robust construction, high precision, and efficiency make the K160S a reliable tool in demanding field conditions. The machine is easy to operate, and the direction of operation is changed via a valve in the lubricator, ensuring convenient and fast control.
