Extreme Networks 800 W AC Power Supply Unit (Back-to-Front) is an efficient and reliable power module designed for 7520 and 7720 series network switches. It ensures stable power delivery and optimal cooperation with the device cooling system thanks to matching airflow direction (back-to-front).

The 800 W power supply is designed as a hot-swappable module, allowing installation or replacement without interrupting switch operation. The devices support dual power supply configurations (AC or DC), as well as mixed setups, increasing infrastructure flexibility and reliability.

The built-in fan operates independently of the switch cooling system, ensuring effective heat dissipation. It is crucial to maintain consistent airflow direction between the power supply and fan modules - all components must operate in the same direction.

The power supply is sold separately for base switch models, enabling precise hardware configuration tailored to specific requirements.

The module is equipped with LED indicators showing operational status:

• AC LED (green) - indicates proper input power
• Fault LED (orange) - indicates a power supply failure.

Note: The power cord is not included and must comply with the following safety requirements:

• Must be certified according to applicable national standards
• Must be equipped with an IEC320-C13 connector
• Cables up to 2 m: minimum cross-section 18 AWG (0.75 mm²)
• Cables above 2 m: minimum cross-section 16 AWG (1.0 mm²).
