Extreme Networks 800 W DC Power Supply Unit (Back-to-Front) is a high-performance DC power module designed for 7520 and 7720 series network switches. It ensures stable and reliable power delivery in demanding environments such as data centers and service provider infrastructures, while aligning with cooling systems thanks to back-to-front airflow.

The 800 W power supply supports hot-swap functionality, allowing installation or removal without interrupting device operation. Switches can operate in redundant configurations using two power modules (AC, DC, or mixed), significantly increasing network reliability and uptime.

The module is equipped with an integrated fan that operates independently of the switch cooling system. It is essential to maintain consistent airflow direction between the power supply and fan modules - all components must operate in the same direction.

The DC power supply is delivered with power cables, simplifying installation in DC-powered environments.

The module features LED indicators for operational status:

• IN OK LED (green) - indicates proper DC input voltage
• OUT OK LED (green) - indicates correct output voltage
• Fault LED (orange) - indicates a potential module failure.
