Tycon Dome Closure Series Naming Scheme
The Tycon 400 B4-T-000 096J-04xA/B M2-B26 is a high-quality dome-type fiber optic closure designed to protect connections and branchings of fiber optic cables in telecommunications networks, FTTH, FTTx, and operator infrastructure. Thanks to its completely hermetic design and heat-shrink port sealing system, it provides effective protection for fibers against moisture, dust, UV radiation, and adverse weather conditions.
This model belongs to the Tycon 400 series and features a size B (Medium) housing equipped with 4 oval ports with heat-shrink sealing. The closure offers a capacity of up to 96 fiber splices and the possibility of mounting up to 4 type A or B trays. The M2-B26 version is equipped with the M2 cable mounting system and a 26 mm deep basket designed for organizing spare buffer tubes and optical fibers.
The closure structure is made of high-quality plastic resistant to UV radiation, chemicals, and temperatures ranging from -40°C to +60°C. The IP68 protection rating allows the product to be used in aerial, duct, and direct-buried installations. Additionally, the closure is equipped with a pressure control valve and a grounding feed-through, which increases safety and facilitates operation.
Fiber organization is carried out using fiber optic splice trays, which are sold separately. This solution allows you to select the number of trays according to the requirements of a specific installation.
